Can You Remember the Colour of Your Front Door  2003-04/2005

Intervention in second-hand bookshop; the sentence “can you remember the colour of your front door” was written in pencil in the margin of 400 paperback novels on successive pages (i.e. it was written on page 1 of first novel, page 2 of second novel, page 400 of final novel). The books (listed below) were then replaced on the shelves to be sold as normal.

The work also takes the form of a gallery-based installation of six books on a shelf, together with a complete list of the 400 books returned to the shelves.
